For the past seventeen years I have been creating jewelry in my favorite design period - Art Deco. I often add modern components which expands the choices into new combinations and the old becomes the added details to the new.

I collect the older pieces to eventually take apart and re-purpose those components into something unique. I love using colors such as green and purple or aqua and orange. They are opposites on the color wheel which adds to the aesthetic. My customers tell me they “like” my work because it is “different”.

My previous profession was nursing and nurses are detail oriented. Upon retiring I was gifted a handmade necklace. “I must learn how to do this” was my response. And I did!!

I have shown in 3 Savannah art galleries and won awards at shows.

The designs in the “shop “ pages are arranged by the categories: earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings. The rings are usually created from a unique glass button modern or vintage that has a shank on the back for wire wrapping. The result is a button to be worn on your finger or made into a pendant. Contact me if you own a button you would like converted to fit you. Once wire-wrapped, though it is not adjustable making the accuracy of your ring size crucial. I can also wire-wrap crystals or beads or pearls into a similar ring.

The ring in the photo below (in the shop) is 3/4 inches in diameter and a handmade glass button from the Czech Republic. I can use smaller or larger buttons.
